The most popular city for this degree is Boston, which has five separate accredited colleges for engineering studies. Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences offers graduate programs in Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, Computational Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering Sciences. They also have undergraduate concentrations for Applied Mathematics, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Sciences and Mechanical Engineering.

Dartmouth College Of Engineering has programs in Bioengineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer and Information Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Physics.

Online Engineering Degrees in Massachusetts

Several options for an online engineering degree are available in Massachusetts. At University of Massachusetts Online are the following degrees: Graduate Certificate in Biomedical Engineering, Graduate Certificate in Plastics Engineering, and Master of Science in Engineering Management.

There are also multiple courses online through Harvard’s Distance Learning Program, and a Software Engineering Certificate can be obtained online. Through Boston University College of Engineering online, there are four graduate certificate programs available: Engineering Innovation, Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems – or MEMS, Energy & Sustainability and Product Design.
