At Oklahoma State University’s College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology, students may study undergraduate and graduate-level programs on a range of engineering subjects. Courses of study include biosystems and agricultural engineering, chemical engineering, civil and environmental engineering, electrical and computer engineering, engineering technology, industrial engineering, materials science and engineering, mechanical and aerospace engineering.
Oral Roberts University’s College of Science and Engineering is comprised of five departments which allow students to “explore God’s creation from a scientific perspective.” The engineering program culminates in a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, which focus on either mechanical, electrical and computer engineering or on biomedical engineering or engineering physics.
The University of Oklahoma College of Engineering features both undergraduate and graduate-level programs in various fields of engineering. Undergrads may study at one of six schools: the School of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering; the School of Chemical, Biological and Materials Engineering; the School of Civil Engineering and Environmental Science; the School of Computer Science; the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering; the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering; or in the multidisciplinary field of Engineering Physics. At the graduate level, master’s degree programs are offered in all of the same specialties.
The University of Tulsa College of Engineering and Natural Sciences is home to the McDougall School of Petroleum Engineering and the Departments of Electrical and Computer Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; and Physics and Engineering Physics. All of the fields may be pursued toward a bachelor’s degree, master’s or PhD degree level.
Online Engineering Schools in Oklahoma
Unfortunately, none of Oklahoma’s engineering schools offer online degree programs. However, Oklahoma-based students wishing to enroll in an online program in engineering may opt for distance learning programs offered by out-of-state schools.
While tuition rates may be higher for out-of-state applicants to some state schools, many prospective students discover that the relative savings of a distance learning program is enough to offset the additional financial burden.
