Two of Michigan’s top companies with engineers are General Motors Company and Ford Motor Company.

General Motors Company is an automotive industry that designs, builds and markets automobiles and trucks throughout the nation. GMC has 3,600 dealerships and offers four different major brands. Of the 80,000 employees, many are electrical, mechanical and automotive engineers as well as engineering students.

Ford Motor Company is an automotive company that builds Ford cars and trucks as well as several other brands of vehicles. The Michigan branch has more than 2,600 employees. They utilize vehicle operations manufacturing, electrical, mechanical engineers. GMC is the nation’s largest auto maker and Ford is the second largest.
